Happy CNY everybody!

Here's a short update on my chinese new year this year!

CNY Eve - Ate reunion dinner at home this year.
Had steamboat! Look at marcus trying to eat a little bit of food before the dinner started!!
We had a round of chicken steamboat and another round of tom yum steamboat a few hours later.



Chinese new year this year is considered simple and boring as compared to the past few years. Normally we will go to a few relative's houses on both the first and second day of cny. However this year, on the first day, we only went to grandma's house at telok blangah and back home after eating dinner and after playing a round of blackjack.









Our family is the first the reach my grandma's house this year. We had nothing to do so we just sit around and take some pictures before waiting for the other to arrive.

Shall update more next week with more pictures. Today is cny day two but we have nowhere to go as most of our relative's are going out to visit others too!

Can't wait to go back to work tomorrow. At least its much better than rotting at home!

22nd August (Monday)




Celebrated Sis's 19th birthday on monday after work. Just a simple celebration - KTV and Eating her favourite mee sua at 511! Initially wanted to go to East Coast Park to eat but decided against that as it's too inconvenient..



Rushed home before 12am to sing birthday song for her with little marcus. Marcus super very funny, he sang super loudly and wanted to blow the candles away on her behalf.

23rd August 2011 (Tuesday)

Sugar-coated day with Krista/Constance and Dessert at Let's sweets :) 

Met up with K on a Tuesday night after work at Bugis for Let's sweets. Always wanted to try it but nobody wanted to go. The variety is not a lot for buffet. There's pasta/pizzas/crepes and dessert :)

Check out the dessert! Such a widespread of dessert but such a pity I only eat the chocolate and cheese cake there! The cheesecake taste like hard rock. LOL. Very hard and taste very fake. I dont like. But the chocolate cake is still alright. The crepe is not bad. You get to choose what kind of crepe you want. I choosed the Chocolate banana one which taste good & yummy. Wanted to try the caramel apple one too but in the end did't, cause we rushed off the bugis street for shopping before the shops closed down. 




The main course - There's pizzas (many variety to choose from, but not very nice). The pasta is not bad though. My favourites there are the Potato salad, cream pasta and the crepe! 

The bill come up to $20+ each which is reasonable for a buffet :) 

Red nails is <3 although mine are rather cui and is chipping off soon.



Headed to bugis street for shopping thereafter. Bought 1 dress & 1 jumper for $30 only! The sales assistant at the shop where I bought the dress & jumper is so weird.I wanted to try the dress on and she went " You sure you want to try this on?! I doubt you can fit cause the dress is too small and it will make your chest looks flat (wth!!) , BUT I still persist to try it on cause its nice and cheap. After trying I decided to buy that dress and the sales girl went " OMG ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO BUY IT (SCREAMING)?!?!"  =.="    Me and K was like -.- why so weird?!   

Bought a pair of heels that look like pretty but hurts like hell. & some other accessories. Fruitful shopping trip with Constance and K (She bought many things too)! Constance did not buy anything though, cause there's no size for her...

Okay, that's lame and I am sounding like a retard.

I just think it's funny that K have a doll that has a human name!!  Will update again soon. So many things I want to blog about. 

Resize the entire blog borders cause I cant seem to edit the picture size no matter what I do. I am not IT Savvy. But at least this looks more presentable compared to different border sizes for different blog post right?!
